2020 First Prize for Sculpture and Ceramics Figuratively Speaking Membbership Show The Art Association of Harrisburg, PaStanding Rock
“Standing Rock” was inspired by the plight of the Lakota tribe protesting the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline near the Standing Rock Reservation in North Dakota, Summer 2016. At that time, the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) was rerouted near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation after a proposed route near the state capital Bismarck was denied as being deemed too risky for Bismarck's water supplies. The tribe opposed the pipeline to be constructed under Lake Oahe and the Missouri RiverHeart of the Mist

2016 The 49th Annual Art of the State The State Muesum of Pennsylvania recognized as the official, statewide juried competition for Pennsylvania artists, highlights artwork from five categories: Craft, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Work on Paper. The 49th Annual Art of the State is recognized as the official, statewide juried competition for Pennsylvania artists. Jurors selected artwork from five categories, Craft, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Work on Paper. The exhibit ran from June 26 through September 11, 2016. The galleries in the historic Governor Findlay Mansion across from Riverfront Park provide exhibition opportunities for regional and nationwide artists.
